Police resolved a dispute between a sex worker and a client who refused to pay — by escorting the man to a cash machine to settle his $100 bill.
The client had refused to pay the woman who had been working on Maich Rd in Manurewa, South Auckland, on Thursday night.
Police settled the matter by driving the man home to get his wallet, taking him to an ATM and then delivering the cash to the worker.
babes I should have put this in the body of the post but this is ONLY possible bc of decriminalisation.
Which is still imperfect like obviously the two sex workers who tried to report being assaulted by a client weren’t treated like this by anyone at any stage of the process and he was found not guilty bc of his excuse that it was a payment dispute and not sexual assault with a deadly weapon.
but they had the OPTION to go to police bc they knew they wouldn’t be arrested just for their jobs. And this woman had that option too and luckily it really worked out for her!
